Lillian C. D'Ambrosio, 82, who worked as a clerk at White Star Quality Cleaners for 30 years, died Tuesday (Nov. 26, 2002) in Schoellkopf Health Care Facility after a lengthy illness.

Born Lillian Dimino in Niagara Falls, she was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School.

Prior to her marriage, she worked as a clerk for Lincoln's Department Store and later worked at White Star Quality Cleaners, retiring in 1987.

Mrs. D'Ambrosio was a member of St. Joseph's Church and a former member and officer of its Mother's Club and a former member of the Bishop's Committee. She also had been a volunteer worker for the church's Catholic Charities campaign.

She was a fan of the New York Yankees.

Her husband, Joseph R., died in 1989.

Survivors include a son, Richard of Wheatfield; two daughters, Donna Previte of Niagara Falls and Rosanne Shiavi of the Town of Niagara; a brother, Joseph Dimino of Niagara Falls; a sister, Mary Punturo of Niagara Falls; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Ave., following prayers at 10 in M.J. Colucci and Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
