Elma Scouts plan spaghetti dinner

On Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Boy Scouts of Elma will hold a spaghetti dinner in St. Gabriel's Parish Center, 5271 Clinton St, one quarter mile east of Transit Road.

Exhibit opens in children's museum

"Big Feats for the Littlest Hands" is the newest exhibit at Explore & More children's museum in East Aurora.

The exhibit is divided into two exploration areas, one for babies who are sitting, crawling and cruising, and one for toddlers. Both spaces are loosely separated from the museum with custom built seating for adults.

The baby space features a nest with crawling spaces, hiding holes, peek-a-boo play spaces and more. A simple balance beam close to the floor lets toddlers test their walking abilities. There are many more activities and challenges geared for the toddler.

Big Feats will be a semi-permanent exhibit, available for at least the next three years.

The museum at 300 Gleed Avenue is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Chamber to post 'Sharing Tree'

The Boston Chamber of Commerce will place its fifth annual "Sharing Tree" in the lobby of the Boston Town Hall on Friday.

The tree is decorated with angel ornaments bearing the name and age of a child. Residents can take the ornament, buy a toy, tape the ornament on the wrapped gift and place it under the tree by Dec. 16. The toys will be delivered to the children by Christmas Eve.
