Aaron Yasinow of Williamsville, a retired attorney who practiced for 60 years, died Sunday (Nov. 24, 2002) at the Weinberg Campus following a long illness. He was 92.
Yasinow was born in Buffalo and attended local schools, including Canisius College. He graduated from the University of Buffalo Law School, where he was fifth in his Class of 1937.
In 1997, Yasinow received a certificate of appreciation from the UB Law School and its alumni association for 60 years of service to the profession.
Yasinow belonged to Temple Beth Zion. He was a member of the former Montefiore Club, the former Erie Downs Golf Club and the Men's Sustaining Society of Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, the former Esther Yenoff; a daughter, Nancy York of Williamsville; and a son, Robert of New York City.
A funeral service was held Tuesday at Amherst Memorial Chapel, Getzville. Burial was in Forest Lawn.
