LEONARD A. LEWIS JR.

Services for Leonard A. Lewis Jr., an insurance company employee, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Second Baptist Church, 957 George St., Mumford. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Lewis, 67, of Rochester, died Wednesday (Nov. 20, 2002) at home after a long illness.

He was born in Summit, N.J., and worked at a number of positions, including sales, at Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in Buffalo until his retirement in 1980.

He moved to Rochester in the mid-1980s.

Lewis was a veteran of the Air Force, serving from 1951 to 1955. He received an honorable discharge.

A bowler, he belonged to a number of leagues.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; five daughters, Robin Nazon of Summerville, S.C., Sheretha Hamilton of Lakeland, Fla., and Alison Lewis, Linda Lewis and Evie Cook, all of Buffalo; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
