BERNICE V. HAHN

A service for Bernice V. Hahn, 83, formerly of Lockport, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.

Mrs. Hahn died Sunday (Nov. 17, 2002) in Mount View Health Care Facility, Lockport, after a brief illness.

Born Bernice Horan in the Town of Tonawanda, she attended area schools. She was employed as a nurse's aide at Mount View Health Care Facility and Lockport Memorial Hospital. During World War II, she worked for Bell Aircraft.

She was a member of the Family Worship Center.

Her husband, Leonard E., died in 1980.

Survivors include five sons, Leonard E. Jr. of Basom, William D. and Paul, both of Appleton, Kenard J. of Niagara Falls and David L. of the Town of Tonawanda; four daughters, Janice Rose of Grand Island, Cheryl Dielman of Shelton, Conn., Mary Elizabeth Tucker of Warren, Ohio, and Roberta Schaff of Hamburg; two brothers, William Horan of Columbus, Ga., and Albert Horan of San Bernardino, Calif.; a sister, Norma Sokoley of the Town of Tonawanda; 31 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
