LEONARD M. HORTON

A memorial Mass for Leonard M. "Buck" Horton, a retired district terminal manager for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines, will be offered at 11 a.m. Nov. 10 in St. Louis Catholic Church, Main and Edward streets.

Horton, a former longtime City of Tonawanda resident, died Sept. 28, 2001, in Abbey Delray, a retirement community in Delray Beach, Fla. He was 92.

He was a native of Scranton, Pa., a graduate of Bucknell University and a veteran of the Army Medical Corps.

He worked for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines in the City of Tonawanda for many years before retiring in 1971. He and his wife, the former Madeline Schantz, moved to Florida the same year.

Survivors, besides his wife of 60 years, include two sons, Richard L. of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, and John D. of Whitehall, Pa.; two daughters, Judith Anne Eckert of Amherst and Barbara E. Burgstahler of Wheatfield; eight grandchil-dren; and six great-grandchildren.
