William J. Laughlin Jr., 61, who had been working as an office manager for Kvaerner Jaddco for the past 25 years, died Friday (Oct. 26, 2001) while working in Parkersburg, W. Va., after an sudden illness.
He was born in Niagara Falls and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
Laughlin served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1960.
He also had been a department manager at Sears, Roebuck & Co. for 15 years.
Laughlin enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was a fan of the New York Yankees and horse racing.
Survivors include his wife, the former Madelon Lilly of Niagara Falls; a son, John M. of Norfolk, Va.; five daughters, Kim M. Arnold, Karen A., Kelly S., Kathleen M. and Kerrie B., all of Niagara Falls; his mother, Harriet of Niagara Falls; a brother, Russell of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a sister, Jane Siever of Niagara Falls; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
