Rath seeking recovery volunteers
State Sen. Mary Lou Rath, R-Williamsville, is seeking the names of groups and individuals from the 60th Senate District who participated in the rescue and recovery efforts in lower Manhattan that resulted from the terrorist attacks.
While these groups and individuals were motivated by selfless concern, Rath said, the Senate wishes to publicly recognize their service to New York and is creating special awards to present honorees.
