Mark Brunell, Jaguars, went 25 for 34 for 306 yards and two touchdowns in Jacksonville's 18-17 loss to Baltimore.
Doug Flutie, Chargers, completed 21 of 33 passes for 254 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. He also ran 13 yards for the winning TD with 1:10 left in San Diego's 27-24 victory over Buffalo.

Mike Brown, Bears, intercepted a pass and returned it 33 yards for the winning touchdown in overtime, giving Chicago a victory over San Francisco.
RB Emmitt Smith sprained a ligament in his right knee in Dallas' 17-3 victory over Arizona after rushing for 83 yards. . . . Bears QB Jim Miller bruised his left hip and was removed from the overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers. . . . WR Keyshawn Johnson sat out the second half of Tampa Bay's victory over Minnesota because of a right knee bruise.
