Stacy Doris, the author of two French books of conceptual prose and three books of poetry, will give a reading for the Wednesdays at 4 Plus series at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Center for the Arts Screening Room, UB North Campus.

Scout, a multimedia festival of poets, playwrights, novelists, musicians and video artists, will conclude at 2 p.m. today with readings by Ishle Yi Park, Gail Scott, Laurie Weeks and Michael Basinski in Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, 2495 Main St.

The Steel Bar Poetry Series will continue at 8 p.m. Saturday with the Elevator Postcard Project in the Steel Bar, Tri-Main Building, 2495 Main St., Suite 551. The program will be hosted by Mike Kelleher and feature artists' books by Isabelle Pelissier and performances by poets from the UB Poetics program and others.

Author Brette Sember will give a book signing from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday in Walden Books, Boulevard Mall, Niagara Falls Boulevard, Amherst. Sember's latest book is "Repair Your Own Credit and Deal With Debt."
