Helen Dieter, 78, died Thursday (Oct. 25, 2001) in Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility, Geneseo.
Born Helen Ferris in Canandaigua, she was a resident of South Venice, Fla., and a former resident of Perry Center.
She was a member of St. Mark Episcopal Church, Ladies of the Veterans of Foreign Affairs and the Loyal Order of Moose, all in Venice. She was a former member of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, Perry.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Forest R. of Venice; three sons, Forest "Randy" Jr. of Arkport, Roger of York and Daniel of New Philadelphia, Ohio; a daughter, Gail Regilio of South Venice; a brother, Charles Jr. of Warsaw; three sisters, Dorothy Driver of Sarasota, Fla., Shirley Barone of Perry and Fort Myers, Fla., and Joye Hoeppner of Lake Wales, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be scheduled in Florida. A memorial service will be scheduled in Perry. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota.
