Eleanor M. Fast, a Warsaw resident and former beautician, died Wednesday (Oct. 24, 2001) in Thompson Hospital, Canandaigua, after a short illness. She was 85.
Born in the Town of Orangeville as Eleanor Armendinger, Mrs. Fast graduated from Roberts Beauty School and was a beautician for many years. She also worked in the sales department of Hens and Kelly department store in Buffalo, and served as a machine operator for the Button Factory in Warsaw and for the Warsaw Machine Shop.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Fast's husband, Harold, died in 1965.
She is survived by a son, Richard, of Farmington; two sisters, Helen Joy of Warsaw and Unabell Berwick of North Tonawanda; two brothers, Hayden Armendinger of Warsaw and Robert Armendinger of Babson Park, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
