Dolores M. Miano Beatty, 61, died Wednesday (Oct. 24, 2001) in her home after a brief illness.
Mrs. Beatty was born Dolores Peterson in Brooklyn and attended schools there.
While living in New York City, she worked as an usher in the RKO Bushwick Theater. She moved to Niagara Falls in 1964 and worked for a few years as a production worker at Pfeiffer Foods, Wilson.
She was a homemaker, an avid bingo player and enjoyed crocheting.
Her husband, James A., died in 1990.
Survivors include her son, Victor J. Miano of Newport Beach, Calif.; her daughter, Diane L. Beatty of Niagara Falls; four brothers, George England of Sidney, Robert Inman of New York City, Carl Peterson of Endicott and Robert Peterson of Niagara Falls; and two sisters, Madeline Hartman and Beverly Peterson, both of New York City.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Otto Redanz Funeral Home, Michigan Avenue and 10th Street. Burial will be in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
