VOTERS SHOULD ELECT PROGRESSIVE LEADERS

I would like to call attention to the voters of Buffalo and Erie County. According to letters published in July and August, we have identified the problem. We have a group of politicians whose main objective appears to be getting themselves re-elected. In November, we have a chance to do something about it.

If elected officials have not produced during their term, vote them out of office. It appears to me that if we want this region to make the progress that Cleveland, Baltimore and other cities have made, we need to elect people who are willing to work together for the good of the city and the county, and not their own interests. Let's put people in office who will help move us ahead.
