Marion G. Biederman, 92, who had enjoyed traveling around the United States and Canada in a motor home with her husband, died Saturday (Oct. 20, 2001) in Mount St. Mary's Nursing Home after a brief illness.
Born Marion Koelle in Niagara Falls, she was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
Mrs. Biederman worked as a clerk for several years at her father's Red and White Grocery Store. She also was a bookkeeper and cashier for many years at Niagara Electric Service, which eventually became Niagara Mohawk Power Co.
After her marriage to David S., she became a full-time homemaker.
Mrs. Biederman was a lifelong member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and belonged to its Kingdom Society.
Her husband of 62 years died in 1998.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Yost of St. Helena, Calif., and Norma I. Higgs of Niagara Falls; a son, David G. of Victoria, British Columbia; a grandson; and two great-grandsons.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cleveland Avenue and 18th Street. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, is private.
