Janice Marie Daniels Williams of Buffalo, a retired registered nurse, died Sunday (Oct. 21, 2001) in Erie County Medical Center after a long illness. She was 51.
Born Janice Marie Holliman, Ms. Williams was a lifelong Buffalo resident and attended Buffalo Public Schools before graduating from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor of science degree.
She worked as a registered nurse for Erie County for about 20 years, spending much of that time at Erie County Medical Center, from which she retired in 1991.
An active member of Calvary Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Ms. Williams sang in the church's Voices of Praise.
She was a member of the American Diabetes Association and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. She also was a Buffalo Bills fan.
Survivors include her husband, John; a son, Bryon Dewayne Daniels of Baltimore; and two grandsons.
Services will be held at noon Thursday in Calvary Church, 1007 Ellicott St. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
