DUNKIRK MAN ARRAIGNED IN WOMAN'S STABBING DEATH

DUNKIRK -- A Dunkirk man was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of second-degree murder in Sunday's stabbing death of Carmen Feliciano, 33, of Franklin Avenue.

Jose V. Rivera, 54, also of Franklin Avenue, was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail, with bail to be set by Chautauqua County Court. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Friday in City Court.

Rivera, who was arrested Tuesday, is accused of attacking Feliciano early Sunday morning outside her residence. She died the same day.

City Court Judge Walter Drag conducted the arraignment.

charged in sex harassment

LOCKPORT -- A Niagara Falls man, accused of sexually harassing a co-worker at Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems, has been charged with forcible touching in an alleged incident at the factory Sept. 22, Officer Bruce Smith said Tuesday.

Robert K. Ackerman, 60, of Laughlin Drive, an electrician at Delphi, was arrested after a female food service employee in the plant cafeteria said he started kissing her neck and ground his pelvic area into the back of her body, Smith said.
