JAMES PATRICK

Services for James Patrick, a longtime farmer, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn. Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery.

Patrick, 88, died Sunday (Oct. 21, 2001) in Heathwood Health Care Center, Amherst, after a long illness.

Born in Niagara Falls, he attended local schools and was a farmer most of his adult life in the towns of Lewiston, Wilson and Cambria.

Patrick also had worked at Vanadium Corp. in Niagara Falls.

He and his wife, Margaret, helped to raise many of their nieces and nephews. She died in 1993.

He is survived by two sons, James and Fred, both of North Tonawanda; three daughters, Margaret of Niagara Falls, Peggy of Rochester and Betty Weaver of Lockport; a brother, John of California; a sister, Anna Stops of North Tonawanda; and seven grandchildren.
