Gloria Sirianni, 102, who lived in three centuries, died Sunday (Oct. 21, 2001) in St. Mary's Manor after a brief illness.
Born Gloria Tavano in Gimigliano, Catanzaro, Italy, she married Antonio Sirianni in 1921 in Italy. He died in 1980 after 59 years of marriage.
Mrs. Sirianni came to Niagara Falls in 1921. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Brode of Niagara Falls, Marie "Tina" Delgrolice of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Rose Crisanti of Niagara Falls, Ont.; four sons, Dominic and Joseph, both of Niagara Falls, and Anthony and Arthur, both of Lewiston; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Ave., after prayers at 9 in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
