Mitchell J. "Sonny" Patronski, a retired laboratory technician, died Thursday (Oct. 18, 2001) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. He was 59.
Patronski was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and graduated from Our Lady of the Rosary School, Trott Vocational School and Niagara Falls High School.
He worked as a lab technician for Harrison Radiator, now Delphi Thermal Systems, in Lockport, retiring in 1996 because of illness.
He was a member of the LaSalle Masonic Lodge 1049.
Patronski enjoyed camping, woodworking, fishing, gardening and photography.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Ann P. Drozdowski; a son, Michael, and a daughter, Sherri Jaroszewski, both of Niagara Falls; seven sisters, Mary H. Signorelli, Linda Dougherty, Barbara Reid and Sharon Lapp, all of Niagara Falls, Jane Alden of Jacksonville, Fla., Dorothy Boager of Tucson, Ariz., and Joann Ford of Dover, Del.; two brothers, Robert and Teddy, both of Niagara Falls; and three grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, following services at 8:45 in Spallino-Amigone Funeral Home, 1300 Pine Ave. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
