Tour: The Industrial Heritage Committee will hold a tour of Rigidized Metals Corp., 658 Ohio St.; 10 a.m. The company is an originator of three-dimensional-design strengthened metals used in industries from aerospace to truck body parts. Drivers course: New York State certified six-hour point and insurance reduction course; 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Kenmore Mercy Hospital, 2950 Elmwood Ave. The course will allow each applicant to receive 10 percent off his collision and liability auto insurance for three years, and also remove up to four points from a New York State driver's license. Test: Western New York Mensa will host a testing day; 1 to 2:30 p.m., with registration at 12:30, in Greenhaven Public Library, first-floor community room, 350 Greenhaven Terrace. The admissions test is composed of two tests with questions involving logic and deductive reasoning. A score above the 98th percentile on one test qualifies for membership.
