LEON WILLIAM JAEGER

Leon William "Lee" Jaeger, 83, of Orchard Park, a retired sales representative and a former steelworker, died Sunday (Oct. 14, 2001) in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Riverside High School and attended Farragut Academy in Toms River, N.J.

As a young man, he worked at Bethlehem Steel Corp. Later, he was a salesman for Duo-Fast Corp. He retired in 1978.

An Orchard Park resident since 1956, he enjoyed playing golf, woodworking and gardening.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, the former Charlotte E. Irving; a son, Michael L. of Orchard Park; a daughter, Carol A. Young of Redlands, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Lombardo Funeral Home, 3060 Abbott Road, Orchard Park. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Orchard Park.
