A memorial service will be held here today for Rhonda A. Pearson, 37, a former Wilson resident who died Sept. 16, 2001, in her home in Hedgesville, W.Va., after a nine-month illness.
She was born Rhonda Cowder in Niagara Falls and was raised in Wilson, graduating from Wilson Senior High School in 1981. She moved to Niagara Falls 10 years ago and to West Virginia five years ago.
In West Virginia, Mrs. Pearson was a nursing coordinator for Home Call, a hospice-like program.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Kenneth W. of Hedgesville; her children, Sean Falbo and Miranda Falbo, both of North Tonawanda; her mother, Johnatha Cowder of Lockport; a brother, Randall Cowder of Lockport; and her grandmother, Ann Kline of Niagara Falls.
The service will begin at 3 p.m. today in Hamilton & Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young St.
