Donald C. Sager, 55, of Cheektowaga, a salesman and Vietnam veteran, died Thursday (Sept. 27, 2001) in St. Joseph's Hospice after an eight-month illness.
A native of Buffalo, Sager worked in route sales for Try It Distributors for 15 years before retiring in August.
He was a graduate of Burgard High School.
A U.S. Army veteran, Sager served in Vietnam and was injured while serving there.
He was a also a member of Teamsters Union 264.
He is survived by his wife, the former Diane M. Redder; his parents, Neal and Alice Gallivan of West Seneca; and a brother, Kenneth of West Seneca.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Amigone Funeral Home, 569 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga. Burial will be in Ridge Lawn Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
