Alyce A. Janik, 66, died Wednesday (Sept. 26, 2001) in her Grand Island home after a brief illness.
She was born Alyce McKoski in Niagara Falls, where she graduated from the former LaSalle High School.
Mrs. Janik worked for Life Technologies of Grand Island as a customer service representative for 30 years, retiring in 1998.
She was a parishioner of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Grand Island, and a member of the Purchasing Management Association of Buffalo and the Hyde Park Ladies 18-Hole Club, Niagara Falls.
Mrs. Janik enjoyed golf, gardening, traveling and doting on her grandson.
Other survivors include her husband of 45 years, Ronald J.; her daughter, Claudia O'Neil of Grand Island; and her sister, Victoria Majchrzak of Running Springs, Calif.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1419 Falls St., Niagara Falls, following prayers at 9:15 in Labuda Funeral Home, 356 Portage Road, Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston.
