Former West Seneca resident Theodore J. Golombek, 87, died Wednesday (Sept. 26, 2001) in Jordan Hospital, Plymouth, Mass., after a brief illness. He was a resident of Carver, Mass.
Golombek had been a barber at West Seneca Developmental Center. After retiring, he moved to Florida in 1976 and to Carver in 1994.
He was an usher at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in West Seneca and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dunedin, Fla. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling and card playing.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Lucy Capan Golombek; a daughter, Margaret G. Minear of Plymouth; a sister, Gertrude Kriegel of Attica; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Carver. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Carver.
