Frances B. Johnson, 71, a retired health care aide, died Tuesday (Sept. 25, 2001) in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Collins, Ga., she came to Buffalo in 1950. She worked in health care for about 20 years, providing private care in homes.
She was a member of Church of Christ on Linwood Avenue.
Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Furtick of the Bronx, Linda-Faye Lynette of Brooklyn and Sandra Tweneboa-Koduah of Buffalo; a son, Erving of Los Angeles; four brothers, Clarence A. and George, both of Buffalo, and Robert A. and Ernest, both of Collins, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
