Dora Jean Martin, 75, of Cheektowaga, a retired secretary, died Thursday (Sept. 27, 2001) in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after a long illness.
Born Dora Annandale in Buffalo, she attended Riverside High School.
She and her husband, Millard L., were married in 1945.
She worked in Kobacker's department store in Riverside in the 1960s, then joined Westwood Pharmaceutical Co. She was private secretary to Vice President David Smith for five years and retired in 1989.
Mrs. Martin was a member of Occidental Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and was present mighty chosen one of Zuleika Cauldron.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, travel, collecting antiques and gardening.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Linda J. Laettner of East Amherst and Marcia A. Walker of Cheektowaga; a brother, John "Red" Annandale of North Tonawanda; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Urban-Amigone Funeral Home, 3645 Genesee St., Cheektowaga. Burial will be in Acacia Park, Pendleton.
