Cecelia B. Pochatko, a longtime homemaker, died Wednesday (Sept. 26, 2001) in Crestwood Health Care Facility, Wheatfield, after a brief illness. She was 87.
Born Cecelia Weisgable in Nanticoke, Pa., she moved to Niagara Falls during the 1940s. She enjoyed sewing her own dresses and curtains.
Her husband, Stephen E., died in 1993.
Survivors include a son, Stephen R. of Niagara Falls, and a sister, Helen Moon of Inverness, Fla.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. John de LaSalle Catholic Church, 8469 Buffalo Ave. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
