Eugene A. Gregor, 85, of Williamsville, who retired from the DuPont Co. and from Buffalo Insulation, died Tuesday (Sept. 25, 2001) in United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia, after a long illness.
The Buffalo native served in the Army in North Africa and in Italy during World War II.
He worked for DuPont for many years before he retired for the first time. After a brief retirement, he returned to work, retiring from Buffalo Insulation in 1979.
Gregor was a member of Leonard Post Jr. Post 6251, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, the former Anna Ziolkowski; a daughter, Kathleen A. Burch of Williamsville; a brother, Harry of Cheektowaga; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 200 St. Gregory Court, Amherst, where he was a member. Burial will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Lancaster.
