As horrid as the World Trade Center situation is, and even though I'm still grieving with the nation over the losses, I must point out a fact. It's estimated that more than 5,000 people lost their lives on Sept. 11. Are people aware that more than 5,000 babies are killed every two days through abortion?

I'm sure there are women who grieve their loss after having an abortion, realizing they made a mistake. Women and young girls are "forced" to abort, thanks to the pressures of society, loved ones and various social agencies.

Many men also grieve when they find out that their partner has killed their child. Men have no say as to whether their child should live. Why is a "fetus" considered a "baby" when the parents want it, but a piece of trash when they don't?

When is this country going to wake up and see what the killing of innocent children is doing to us? For all the suffering related to the terrorist bombings, I am sorry and in grief. But every day, I and many others grieve for the babies killed legally.
