FELSCHOW - RAJLA

Nuptial vows were exchanged by Jill M. Felschow and Peter A. Rajla during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Andrew Catholic Church, Sloan. The Rev. William E. Frankhauser of St. Mary Church, Cattaraugus, heard their vows.

Donald and Grace Felschow of West Seneca are parents of the bride. The bridegroom's parents are Peter and Helen Rajla, also of West Seneca. A reception was given in Kiebzak's Beginnings. The couple will travel to Orlando, Fla., and will take a Caribbean cruise.

The bride is artistic director of the Regis Corp. The bridegroom is site supervisor manager of Burns International Security. They are graduates of West Seneca West High School.

Rivera - Barbera
The wedding of Lisa Yvette Rivera and John George Barbera took place at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at D'Youville College, of which the bride is a graduate. The Rev. Janice Mahle, a Baptist minister, performed the ceremony.

Luis E. and Sonia E. Rivera of Buffalo are the bride's parents. Parents of the bridegroom are George and Elizabeth Barbera of Holland. A reception was given in Bowmansville Fire Hall before the couple left to take a Caribbean cruise. They will be at home in Buffalo.

The bride is a registered nurse in the Erie County Medical Center burn/trauma unit. The bridegroom, a corrections officer in Wende Correctional Facility, is a graduate of West Seneca East High School.

Brandel - Seege
Jennifer L. Brandel, an optometric technician with Lenscrafters, and Michael S. Seege, a self-employed professional magician, exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, Lancaster. The Rev. Jay W. McGinnis performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Brandel of North Tonawanda. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Seege of Lancaster.

A reception was given in Samuel's Grande Manor before the couple left for Las Vegas, Nev. They will make their home in Depew.

The bride was graduated from North Tonawanda High School and the bridegroom is a graduate of Lancaster Central High School.

Prendergast - Sahr
Rebecca Prendergast and James Sahr, graduates of Fredonia State College, exchanged nuptial vows at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in Tan Tara Golf Club, North Tonawanda, where a reception was given. They will be at home in Cheektowaga after traveling to Antigua.

Joseph and Nina Prendergast of Blasdell are the bride's parents. Parents of the bridegroom are Helen and Richard Sahr Jr. of Grand Island.

The bride, a multi-systemic therapist for Catholic Charities in Niagara Falls, earned a master's degree in social work from University at Buffalo. The bridegroom, a research assistant for Research Institute on Addictions, is pursuing a master of business administration degree from St. Bonaventure University.

Volk - Carr
Jacqueline A. Volk became the bride of John D. Carr Jr. during a ceremony performed by the Rev. Walter J. Szczesny at 3 p.m. Saturday in St. George's Catholic Church, West Falls.

Mary Volk of West Falls and the late Edward Volk are parents of the bride. John and Marcia Carr of Kenmore are the bridegroom's parents.

A reception was given in the Grange Building at Erie County Fairgrounds. The couple are traveling to Aruba and will be at home in Cheektowaga.

The bride is a warranty administrator for Gambino Ford, Lockport. The bridegroom is a parts specialist for West-Herr Ford of Amherst. He was a semi-professional hockey player for the Peterborough Petes.

Bohen - Forster
St. Mark's Catholic Church was the setting at 1 p.m. Saturday for the wedding of Kelly Lynn Bohen and Robert Karl Forster. Monsignor Francis Braun performed their marriage ceremony.

Parents of the bride are John and Sandra Bohen of Cheektowaga. The bridegroom is the son of Ann Forster of Town of Tonawanda.

A reception was given in Protocol Restaurant for the couple who will make their home in Tonawanda.

The bride, a graduate of Maryvale High School, is a dental ceramist for Precision Dental Ceramics. A rail car operator for Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Metro Rail, the bridegroom is a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School.

Bowen - Young
A reception was given in Fox Valley Club before Todd Young and his bride, Ellen Bowen, left for Aruba. The Rev. Harry E. Winter performed their nuptial ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Marie R. Bowen of Buffalo and the late Donald M. Bowen are parents of the bride, a graduate of Hutchinson-Central Technical High School and Erie Community College who is attending University at Buffalo School of Nursing. She is a bartender at Mister Tony's Pierce Arrow.

Harry and Beverly Young of Wheatfield are parents of the bridegroom, a graduate of McKinley High School and a foreman with Roy's Plumbing.

The couple will make their home in Lockport.

Leopold - Karcher
Elizabeth M. Leopold, daughter of Lester B. and Elizabeth K. Leopold of Williamsville, and Matthew C. Karcher, son of Charles G. and Joan E. Karcher of Akron, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday in Zion Lutheran Church, Clarence. The Rev. Randy P. Milleville heard their vows.

A reception was given in Ellicott Creek Banquet Hall for the couple, who will live in Akron. They will travel to Maui, Hawaii.

The bride, a graduate of Williamsville East High School and Board of Cooperative Educational Services, is a stylist in Capello Hair Salon and Day Spa. The bridegroom is a self-employed farmer in Akron. He is a graduate of Alfred State College College of Technology.
