Graham Miller, chairman of the membership advisory committee of Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society, will give a talk on "The Presidents on Delaware Avenue" before a noon luncheon of Buffalo Federation of Women's Clubs Thursday in Fanny's restaurant. The afternoon speaker will be Thomas Martin, Kavonoky Theatre director in residence, who will talk about the 2002-02 theater season in Buffalo. Elsie Crowell, Donna Davis and Marilyn Forbach of Beta Sigma Phi will be hostesses and Carol McMahon will discuss plans for the federation's fourth annual fashion show and luncheon Oct. 13 in Hearthstone Manor. Federation members will be hostesses at tea after the Lilian Fairchild Travel Talk, "Yellowstone by Llama" at 2 p.m. Oct. 2 in Buffalo Museum of Science.
Daemen College Associates will have a wine and hors d'oeuvres party Thursday at 6 p.m. in Wick Center at the college before attending a 7:30 performance of "My Way," a musical tribute to Frank Sinatra that will be presented by Musical Fare Theatre Company in Musical Fare Theatre. Edward McMahon is chairman and Norma Tanvich is co-chairwoman.
Prizes will be presented to winners of 18-hole and nine-hole women's golf tournaments at an awards dinner for Women's Golf Division of Park Country Club of Buffalo Wednesday in the clubhouse. Patricia Kelly, Carole Moose, Joyce Scherrer and Shari Smith are chairwomen.
