DENNIS C. FINK, HEADED DRUG-ABUSE FACILITY

Dennis C. Fink of Angola, a substance-abuse facility administrator, died Tuesday (Sept. 18, 2001), after suffering a heart attack, in Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk. He was 54.

Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Cleveland Hill High School and Empire State College and was a doctoral candidate at Capella University at Northwestern College in Minneapolis. He served as an Air Force sergeant during the Vietnam War.

For the past 15 years, he was executive director of Cazenovia Recovery Systems in Buffalo.

He was a member of the Western New York Walleye Association and was a boater and fisherman.

Fink is survived by a daughter, Lisa DeVore of Amherst; his mother, Helen; a brother, Kenneth; and a sister, Donna Kuss, all of Cheektowaga; two grandchildren; and a close friend, Roberta Dauphine of Angola.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday in Mother of Divine Grace Catholic Church, 120 Old Maryvale Drive, Cheektowaga. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
