UB SHUFFLES FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

The University at Buffalo announced Wednesday that it has rescheduled its game against Army for Nov. 10 at West Point.

The game was originally scheduled for last Saturday but was postponed following terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. UB was scheduled to play Akron on Nov. 10, but that game has now been moved to Nov. 17.

Tickets for the original dates of both games will be honored on the rescheduled dates and questions regarding the rescheduled games can be directed to the UB ticket office at 645-6666.

MEN'S SOCCER: Chris Eyring and Michael Burger scored to lead Niagara (1-4) to a 2-1 win at Binghamton (0-5). . . . Steve Garvey tallied for Buffalo State (1-5) in its 3-1 loss to Rochester Institute of Technology. . . . Chris Whitmore (Lockport) had two goals and an assist as Fredonia State (6-1) took a 5-1 victory over Alfred (4-1-1). . . . Ryan Acanfora and Nick Wolf each scored twice as Hilbert (1-4) scored a 5-2 win over Medaille (1-3-1).

WOMEN'S SOCCER: Aileen Noonan's goal, in the 40th minute, gave Canisius (1-4) a 1-0 win over Niagara (0-4). . . . Nicole DeVantier (Niagara Catholic) and Shannon Bieniek (West Seneca West) had the goals as Hilbert (4-2) earned a 2-0 win over Medaille (1-4).

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Melanie Wilson had 21 kills and 14 digs to help Niagara (2-4) to a four-game win over Canisius (1-8). . . . Despite a career-high 13 kills from Alexis Bouie (Albion), UB (2-5) lost to Syracuse (5-3), three games to one.
