I attended the vigil Sunday night in Niagara Square. It was a well-planned and very touching tribute to those who lost their lives in the worst American tragedy in decades. People came out in droves to mourn, and to support our great country.
I am very saddened that Allright Parking was charging people $6 to park in its lot for less than two hours. I have no problem with this company making money on an "event." But this was not an event, this was a tribute to the many people whose lives were tragically taken. It is my hope that Allright will donate the proceeds to the American Red Cross for the rescue and recovery mission.
