THERESA MOHNEY, RAN HOME INTERIORS FIRM

Theresa A. Mohney, a manager for a home-demonstration business, died Sunday (Sept. 16, 2001) in her Holland home after a 20-year battle with breast cancer. She was 69.

Mrs. Mohney retired in 1995 after working for more than 20 years as a manager for Home Interiors and Gifts, which sells its merchandise through home-demonstration parties.

In her retirement, she was active in the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Holland, the Holland Garden Club and the East Aurora and Holland senior citizen centers. She also participated in a Thursday night euchre club, an organization of widowed friends and volunteered for Hospice Buffalo.

Born in Buffalo, the former Theresa Jeziorowski grew up in Cheektowaga. She had lived in Holland more than 40 years.

Her husband, Edwin, died in 1996.

She is survived by a son, Bruce of Holland; three daughters, Brenda Von Wreyza of Holland, Cheryl George of East Aurora and Sandie Hill of Cattaraugus; a stepson, Dennis of Williamsville; two brothers, Edward Jeziorowski of West Seneca and Joseph Jeziorowski of Cheektowaga; a sister, Alice Goosley of Brockport; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 46 N. Main St., Holland. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
