The Memory Walk, a fund-raiser for the Alzheimer's Association, will be held at three Western New York sites in upcoming weeks. The 13th annual Erie County Memory Walk will be held Saturday in the Buffalo Zoo and Delaware Park. The first Niagara County walk is Sept. 29 at Artpark in Lewiston, and the first Southern Tier walk is Oct. 27 beginning at Olean Open MRI, Olean. The American Lung Association has two Freedom from Smoking classes starting. The Schofield Residence, 3333 Elmwood Ave., Town of Tonawanda, hosts a Monday session beginning Monday and continuing Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.
