CAPTURING BIN LADEN DOESN'T GO FAR ENOUGH

People need to understand that it is not the Osama bin Ladens of the world that we need to worry about. There will always be people who have a visceral hatred toward America. We need to be concerned about the countries and regimes that support terrorism. They are the ones we should go after. And I'm sorry, but if that means innocent civilians must die, then so be it.

Let's face it, without the support of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and other like nations, these terrorists would be unable to train, hide and get the financial support to run these complex organizations. We have to attack the terrorists' infrastructure, not the individual.

As much as I would like to see bin Laden brought to justice, that would not accomplish anything. He would become a martyr and 10 more people would step up to the plate.

If we show these nations that there are severe consequences, they might stop harboring terrorists, and that would put them out of business.
