Sharon C. O'Hara, 67, died Sunday (Sept. 16, 2001) in Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was born Sharon Frombgen in Lockport and graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1952.
Mrs. O'Hara worked for 13 years in the payroll department at Harrison Radiator Division, General Motors Corp., retiring in 1972.
She moved from Lockport to Burt 30 years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Bridget's Catholic Church.
Mrs. O'Hara was a member of the Barton Group at Newfane Inter-Community; the Mended Hearts; the Women's Health Initiative at the University at Buffalo; St. Joseph's Academy Alumnae Association; Ladies Lockport Chapter, Ancient Order of Hibernians; and the Kenan Arts Council, Lockport.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Thomas; two sons, Timothy of West Seneca and Michael of Buffalo; a brother, Bernard "Ben" Frombgen of Barker; and a granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bridget's Church, Ewings Road, Newfane. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Lockport.
