Fort Erie

Friendship Festival: Annual Canada Day celebration held at Mather Arch in Fort Erie, Ont. Featuring Rob Ray and Martin Biron of the Buffalo Sabres signing autographs at Buffalo Sabres Hockey Park, on site in Fort Erie, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. There will also be an interactive event with an inflatable Dominik Hasek in net. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Lancaster

Lockport

North Tonawanda

Fair: A medieval fair, the Brass Ring Thing, will feature demonstrations of period crafts, games and vendors; 10 a.m., Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, 180 Thompson St. Admission $4 for adults, $2 for children. Held in association with the Society for Creative Anachronism.
