Services for Michael G. Millard, who was employed by the Salvation Army, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St.
Millard, 47, died Saturday (June 23, 2001) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after being stricken ill.
Born in Buffalo, Millard moved to the Lockport area in 1992. For the past two years, he worked as a supervising employment specialist at the Salvation Army, where he helped the agency's clients find employment.
He was a past president of the West Side Football Club of Buffalo and head coach of the West Side Bills football team.
He is survived by his wife, the former Kathryn Brewer; two sons, Sean of Florida and Geoffrey of Lockport; his mother, Bernadette of West Seneca; a sister, Judy Whiteside of Hamburg; and a grandson.
