Stuart T. Martin, 72, a retired employee of Niabco Industrial Sales and Western Electric, died Saturday (June 23, 2001) in his Orchard Park Home.

Born in Detroit, he came to Buffalo as a child and graduated from Riverside High School in 1947.

He was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church and Pioneers of America.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Patricia Jarvis; four daughters, Catherine Kaufman of Westfield, Linda Lynett of Amherst, Coleen Shanks of Erie, Pa., and Lorri Bykowicz of West Seneca; a son, James S. of Amherst; his mother, Ella Martin of Orchard Park; a brother, Warner G. of Lake View and Longboat Key, Fla.; two sisters, Elizabeth Slomka of Eden and Carol Stone of Palm Harbor, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 26 Thorn Ave., Orchard Park. Prayers will be said at 9 in F.E. Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 E. Quaker St., Orchard Park. Burial will be in Nativity Cemetery, Orchard Park.
