St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Depew, was the setting Saturday at 2 p.m. when Jessica Patrice Markowski became the bride of Brian Matthew Kuhl.

A reception was given in Salvatore's Italian Gardens for the daughter of Norman E. and Joan M. Markowski of Lancaster and the son of Sharon M. Kuhl and Emil C. Kuhl, both of Lackawanna. The newly married couple will be at home in Depew after a trip to Toronto.

The bride was graduated from Lancaster Central High School. The bridegroom, a graduate of West Seneca West High School, attends Empire State College and is executive manager for Target in Penfield and Rochester.

The wedding of Julie E. Sciandra and Jason M. Miller took place Saturday at 5 p.m. in Brookfield Country Club, where a reception was given.

Angelo and Arlene Sciandra of Buffalo are the bride's parents.

Parents of the bridegroom are Jeffrey D. and Carol Ann Miller of Amherst.

The couple will make their home in Buffalo after traveling to Jamaica.

A physical therapist with the McGuire Group, the bride is a graduate of University at Buffalo.

The bridegroom was graduated from Buffalo State College and is an account executive with AppleOne.

Carrie Ann Kuhl and Patrick Daniel Rost were married by the Rev. David W. Bialkowski at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. John Gualbert Catholic Church, Cheektowaga. Richard and Joanne Nelson of Cheektowaga are the stepfather and mother of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of David A. and Elizabeth Rost of Buffalo. A reception was given in Fraternal Order of Eagles clubhouse, Depew. A certified nursing assistant for Hospice Palliative Care Center, the bride is a graduate of Cheektowaga Central High School. A graduate of Kensington High School, the bridegroom is a driver for Jamers Desiderio Inc. They will live in Cheektowaga.

Erie Community College graduates Beth Ann Socha and Donald J. Palmisano Jr. were married Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Josaphat Catholic Church, Cheektowaga.

Judy and Dennis Socha of Cheektowaga are parents of the bride and Donald Palmisano of Tonawanda and Cheryl Ernst of Depew are the bridegroom's parents.

A reception was given in Lancaster Elks Club.

The bride is a radiation therapist for CCS Oncology Center. The bridegroom is the owner of DJP Carpet Service.

They are graduates of Maryvale High School and will be at home in Depew after a trip to Mexico.

The wedding of Nichole K. Schiltz and Richard R. Calmes took place Saturday at 3 p.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Holland, when they exchanged nuptial vows before the Rev. Dennis A. Fronczak.

Parents of the bride are Leslie and Kathleen Schiltz of Holland. Peter and Judith Calmes, also of Holland, are parents of the bridegroom.

A reception was given in Holland Willows for the newly married couple, who left for Toronto. They are employed by Swimco Pools, the bride as a service technician and the bridegroom as service manager. She is attending Buffalo State College and he is a graduate of University at Buffalo.

Fredonia State College graduates Michelle S. Colantino and Adam L. Teijeira exchanged nuptial vows Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Collins Center.

A reception was given in Oakwood Manor for the couple, who are traveling to Alaska and will be at home in North Collins. The bride is a special education teacher in Lake Shore Central School District. The bridegroom is an installation technician with Lucent Technologies.

A reception was given in Kloc's Blossom Grove before the couple left for Cancun, Mexico. They will be at home in Cheektowaga.

Mark Wilson of Hamburg and Karen Hartinger of Depew are the parents of the bridegroom. The newly married couple are employees of Umbra USA. They will make their home in Buffalo.
