Dr. Vincent J. Rozbicki of Buffalo, a retired dentist, died Friday (June 22, 2001) in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness. He was 79.

The Buffalo native had a dental practice for 53 years at 1437 Broadway in Buffalo and then at Hillview Dental Clinic on Transit Road in Depew. He retired June 1.

He was a graduate of St. Francis High School in Athol Springs, Canisius College and Marquette University.

Rozbicki served in the Army in World War II and was a captain in the Air Force Medical Corps in the Korean War.

He was a member of the 8th District Dental Society; the Medical Arts Society; the Adam Plewacki Post, American Legion; and a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

He also was a member of the Singing Doctors Choral Group and the choir at St. Louis Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rita.

Services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday in Lombardo Funeral Home, 102 Linwood Ave., followed at 9:30 by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Louis Church, Main and Edward streets. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
