Donna Mary Connors, a former bookkeeper and real estate agent, died Thursday (June 21, 2001) in Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 60.
The former Donna Mary Zagarino was born in Buffalo and was a longtime resident of Hamburg. She graduated from Kensington High School in 1959 and attended Bryant & Stratton.
In 1964, she married Daniel M. Connors. He died in 1984.
Mrs. Connors worked as a real estate agent during the 1980s and as a bookkeeper for the past two years. She and her family also operated Excello Building Maintenance Co. from 1985 to 1995.
She was an active member of St. David's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include three sons, Dan of West Seneca, and Steven and Nathaniel of Hamburg; her mother, Elvera Zagarino of Severna Park, Md.; a sister, Linda of Severna Park; a brother, Louis of Annapolis, Md.; and two grandchildren.
A Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in St. David's Episcopal Church, 3951 Seneca St., West Seneca. Prayers will be said at 9 in Amigone Funeral Home, 6050 Transit Road, Depew. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
