The Giamartino brothers, owners of the soon-to-open Tully's Good Times Restaurant at the former Lone Star Steakhouse site, should be applauded by the Town of Amherst. They are to be congratulated for choosing an existing building. We are finally getting tenants with some common sense. They realize that spending $250,000 to remodel makes a lot more sense than building a new restaurant.
Amherst politicians permit building after building to be built. The number of buildings sitting empty is a disgrace.
The entire town is one big "For Lease" sign. I wish the restaurant the greatest of success in its new location.
