Hilda Wolchok will present plans for a charity bazaar in October and Evelyn Berman will outline plans for the Children's Home Luncheon in September when Jewish Women International of Greater Buffalo has a dessert luncheon Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at 120 Meyer Road, Amherst.

Zonta Club of Buffalo presented the 2001 Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship to Min Kyoung Choi McMurray, a senior in University at Buffalo, and the Young Women in Public Affairs Award to Monique Peeler, a senior in Bennett High School, at a dinner Tuesday in Holiday Inn on Delaware Avenue.

Buffalo City Court Judge E. Jeanette Ogden will speak at the annual Women's Day of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Niagara Falls, at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Buffalo After-Five Club of Christian Business & Professional Women will have a dinner Monday in Holiday Inn, Amherst. Kay Learned will display gifts from Hodgepodge and Sharon Evans will sing. Judy Barlow of Strongsville, Ohio, will speak on "A Busy Woman Who Finally Found Inner Peace." Barlow also will speak at a luncheon for Southtowns Christian Women's Club June 28 at 11:30 a.m. in Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant. A representative of Home Cooking Express will give a program and Jane Ebert will sing.

"East Meets West" is the theme of a nine-hole women's golf division tournament Tuesday at Park Country Club of Buffalo. A continental breakfast will precede the tournament and prizes will be awarded at a luncheon in the clubhouse. Takako Michii and Dorothy LaFranier, co-chairwomen, will wear traditional Japanese attire and will demonstrate the art of Ikebana Japanese floral arrangements. Trillium Floral Shoppe will give a demonstration of Western floral arranging.

Women Associates of the Buffalo Power Squadron will welcome new members at a picnic June 28, starting at noon with games and get-acquainted activities, at the casino in Como Park, Lancaster. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. and a meeting is scheduled for 7:15. Carol Chudy is taking reservations.

Members of Buffalo Federation of Women's Clubs will serve refreshments to new citizens and guests after naturalization ceremonies June 28 at 9 a.m. aboard the USS Little Rock at Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Servicemen's Park.
