Robert Bartlett, 91, of Williamsville, founder of a Town of Tonawanda door company, died Thursday (June 14, 2001) in Waterfront Health Care Center after a long illness.
Born in Franklinville, he came to Buffalo with his family as a child. He worked for Bell Aircraft Co. during World War II and later was the founder of Bartlett Overhead Door Co. He retired in the late 1970s. In retirement, he lived in Florida for 10 years.
He was a member of the Ismailia Shrine and of Masonic lodges in Buffalo and Clearwater, Fla.
He and Rita Klueck Bartlett were married in 1955.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Gary of Marlton, N.J.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
