Thomas C. Sauer, 18, a college student, died Friday (June 15, 2001) in Erie County Medical Center from injuries suffered in a car accident two weeks ago in Cold Spring.
Sauer was born and raised in Buffalo. He was a freshman at the University at Buffalo.
Sauer graduated in 2000 from Hutchinson-Central Technical High School, where he was president of his junior and senior classes. He was a member of the football team and the ski club.
Sauer was a member of the board of Camp Li-Lo-Li in Randolph, succeeding his father, David E., who died last year. Sauer enjoyed skiing, computers and sports. He was a member of Amherst Bible Chapel.
Survivors include his mother, Janet R. of Buffalo; three brothers, Peter D., Andrew J. and Matthew C., all of Buffalo; and two grandparents, Edwin C. of Snyder and Samuel Carson of Kenmore.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Amigone Funeral Home, 2600 Sheridan Drive, Town of Tonawanda.
